I'M HERE TO EMPOWER YOU!

I’m an artist . . . but that’s not saying much, because I believe, and it is something that I have devoted my time heavily to convey, that art expression is an inherent property of human nature. The media may vary, but not the innate disposition.

Those that know me have heard my “talent-as-myth” diatribe all too often, and if you end up tuning in to my posts, you will encounter it soon enough. It is my goal to change the notion, which a great number of people resign to, that one needs to have “talent” to pursue the art they feel or want and am doing this on a daily basis through my program in the G+ Mentorship Program for Photographers.

With that as preface, I will probably devote a portion of my posts to inspiring artists, but I also plan to impart other conceptions that I have about life in general, with the goal of elevating, encouraging, enlivening or energizing those who read them.

Let me begin with this:

I wish for you the ability to create for yourself all that your heart desires.

"For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: 'If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?' And whenever the answer has been 'No' for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something."

  5. Sad thing is people hardly change. ...They become more of the same...think about yourself and see if this is not true in many small ways...easiest is to think about your likes and dislikes. Have they really changed that much over time or just become a more sophisticated variation of the original same? Hard to see the real truth...I know myself..love and light ya'all

  7. My suggestion would be to stop looking in the mirror - look what it does to women : you don't want to end up like that do you?

  10. Change, my mantra since a while:
Whenever a thought comes to my mind, which doesn't make me happy, I think the word -- change. Works for me.

(I grew up in an area, where it was easy to be critical, depressed or melancholic. It was more accepted than being happy and motivated. In fact, people called one nuts when they were just happy and euphoric: not serious, not really ready to be an accepted member of society.

    BS!

Today I'm so happy to be as far as possible away from that place.)

    :o)

  18. What good is change if only in the mind while the heart is still the same... a man lives from his inner being and if it is corrupt all his thought from it is corrupt. Then he is no good for his community. He is a poet without words a virgin without virginity.
Change from within and though the outer appearance is marred YET from within the will of good springs forth...then we can say though eyes are ploughed that this man did what was good.

  19. Kwesi Sandiford what is good? Without something being tied up with bad..I say only live accordingly to the situation at hand, regardless of morality and values that will change indefinitely over a so called "time".. Definition is the reason we exist in our projected imagination.. So be sure that what you imagine is what you desire of your definition of life/(halogram?)...oh and always keep smiling:)

Maybe you need to have a check on those thing you think are mostly not convenient for you and make them convenient

IN A YEARS TIME, I HAVE CHANGED, NOT MY OWN DOING.
TODAY I AM LIVING MY LIFE (ANSWER TO PRAYER) MY WHOLE
SELF, BODY, SOUL & SPIRIT. . .ALSO "ME" I WENT TO LOOKING
GOOD, FEELING GOOD AND WHAT PEOPLE SEE IS A TOTALLY
DIFFERENT WOMAN. THIS "CHANGE" HAS GIVEN HOPE TO
    MANY PEOPLE, FRIENDS, & FAMILY.
